Paolo Bajcic has over 17 years of experience in medical affairs and clinical development. He joined CSL Behring in 2017 as Head of Medical Affairs Germany, Austria, and Emerging Europe across CSL’s portfolio leading the creation of the new medical affairs department. In 2020 he became a Therapeutic Area Head, Senior Director Medical Affairs for Specialty Products in North America, providing strategic and tactical medical leadership for HAEGARDA®, Kcentra®  and ZEMAIRA®, contributing to key operational and cross-functional projects as a member of the Medical Affairs leadership team and leading a Global Immunology Therapeutic Area project team tasked with generation of an integrated evidence plan for Target Product Claims for a phase III HAE pipeline product Garadacimab.

Prior to joining CSL Behring, Paolo held a variety of Medical Leadership roles across oncology, immunology, respiratory, cardiovascular, and metabolic, on both the local and international level, at Boehringer Ingelheim and GSK, successfully launching multiple oncology compounds in solid cancer as well as hematology.

Paolo earned his Doctor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Rijeka
and volunteered at the emergency ward at the Clinical Hospital Center Rijeka in Croatia. In addition, he earned his Executive Master of Business Administration at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany.
